Thanks for this video and info. I am about to create an EFI partition on my Dell but I don't have it as an option in the menu. I only have the following options Ext4, XFS, Btrfs, VFAT and Swap...any advice here would be much appreciated. UPDATE. I went into the BIOS and change the Legacy to UEFI hybrid so that should be fine but after adding the partitions as you mentioned, the dialog menu is greyed out so I can't proceed. I am stuck again...any advice would be appreciated

for some reason it doesnt work for me anymore. It used to but now in the properties tab it says that the video is 0 seconds long. what went wrong??

I would recommend recording in .MKV format becasue if something breaks during the recording you will still have a working file you may need to translate the file format but that shouldn't be ab issue. Also kdenlive works with .mkv no problem.

hello and thx for nice tutorial, i come6 years to late..lol... i have encrypted system and encrypted data hdd with same password, but when i boot it asks for 2 passowords. how to mount encrypted ssd and encrypted hdd with 1 password on boot?

Got one thing to say tho, installing Linux and then Chrome is kinda reduntant, assuming you want security and don't wanna be tracked, kinda goofy to install the one browser by the one company that is known for taking people's data and such. Otherwise, good video.

Nowadays, Ubuntu installation is way more simple than Windows. So I completely disagree with the first point. It support secure boot, it has beautiful and intuitive graphical installer with several options for automatic installation.
